Google Chrome Now On Linux, Alpha Release

Google Chrome is now available for Linux as an alpha release.

The developers of the open source Chromium code base decided to build the Linux port with GTK+, the toolkit that is used by the popular GNOME desktop environment. This will help it feel more like a native application for GNOME based Linux distributions.
