Opera 10 Browser Final Release

The cross-platform browser, Opera 10, reaches full release. The browser is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

There are a number of celebrated features in the new Opera release. One of the most talked about is a feature called Opera Turbo--compression engine for slow or unsteady internet connections. Opera Turbo helps the browser run eight times faster than competing browsers on bad connections.

Other features include a new user interface, new tab structure where the tabs double as thumbnail images, Speed Dial was improved and supports a customizable background image, spell check for 51 languages and a new version of Opera Dragonfly ( a web development tool).
