Video Streaming Traffic Up 41% For August

It was an industry expectation that traffic to video streaming sites would increase for the month of August. Web-based video streaming increased by 41% for the month of August according to Nielsen Online. Unique web-video viewers were up by 18%.

Youtube is the top contender for online video websites, followed by Hulu as the distant runner up and Yahoo coming in third.
