NYTimes paywall goes live

The NYTimes paywall went live today and offers a digital subscription system for mobile and website--plus all digital access. The paywall allows users to read up to 20 articles per month. Strangely, Twitter links to NY Times stories don't count against the quota.

The newspaper is offering a very tempting low initial price for the first four weeks--$1 only. Afterwards the all digital subscription  will cost you $35 for four weeks. The all digital access is free for paper subscribers.

Amazon announced that Kindle subscribers will receive the Times subscription for free. Amazon is the best-selling subscription on Amazon.com.
