Google+ open to public grows by 30% in 2 days

It appears that Google+ is experiencing explosive growth. Within 2 days of going public, the new social network grew by 30%.

Their timeline of growth (as searchengineland.com points out) starts with the exciting 1 million mark achieved on July 4th. Then by July 10th, the social network grows to 4.5 million users. The current estimate is approximately 43.3 million current users.
