Tablets and iPads gain popularity with upper middle income households

According to research from Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project, 47% of Americans living in households with annual income of $75,000 or more now own tablets or iPads.

Within the household income bracket of $50,000-$74,999, that figure dropped sharply to 32%. And again the figure drops with households of $30,000-$49,999 to 27%.  In households with an income of less than $30,000, the percentage of tablet owners are about 10%.
