Central Park is by far one of our country's most magnificent accomplishments--such a vast piece of natural real estate in the middle of the world's most metropolitan city. Understanding the complexities of the park is a story well beyond what most of its visitors ever understand.
That's why working with the Central Park Conservancy was such an honor.
We worked together and brought the story of the park's Woodlands to life in an exhibit for students, visitors, and academics alike. The highly interactive iPad kiosks, designed and developed by Ironpaper, blend the traditional with the virtual.
Run with a series of QR keys, the six-stage iPad touch screen experience corresponds with a walk-through exhibit. Users activate various content areas within the iPad application, explore facts and visuals, and sign up to receive digital kits that unlock parkwide experiences.
Future versions will allow the user to bring the entire experience with them.
